A Call for Change

Our Health Philosophy

We believe incorporating spirituality into physical therapy practice is a key component for success. There is a sense of being lost, and without a direction to go, it is easy to be distracted and miss the mark. It is easy to lose sight of the goals we set in the therapeutic relationship and continually become progressively discouraged with each subsequent attempt to restart, both for the client and the clinician. At Brick By Brick Health Ministry, therapeutic services are provided through several dimensions. We offer spiritual discussions and resources to create a connected and supportive community. We provide movement programs to keep you engaged in life. We educate with evidence based information on sound nutrition habits and ways to combat the draining world through restful practices.

Vision

To bring about the glory of God by preaching glad tidings to the poor and bind up the broken hearted. We provide knowledge and spiritual support through our blog, as an act of envangelization. Through this service to others, we empower them to make optimal health choices, which enables them to fulfill their responsibility of service to others, no matter how small.

History

I had been working as a physical therapist for several years when I began to realize our current method of treatment wasn’t effective. I felt there was a better way, a more holistic way, but that it needed a solid foundation that wasn’t based on current standards.

I was born and raised Roman Catholic and continue to be a practicing Christian. With this personal background, I felt a higher call to serve, which is one of the reasons I went into the field of therapy. However, current practice wasn’t doing it for me. There was too much red tape, the healthcare culture was too complicated, and most importantly, I was disappointed with my career choice as I felt disheartened and apathetic on a near daily basis. I was just going through the motions, working in a system I didn’t believe in, had lost passion for, and at times downright despised.

In 2020, I made my first attempt at starting a business. Long story short, it fell on it’s face and never got off the ground, because I was terrified, confused, and unprepared. In 2024, I decided to start again, with more diligence and courage.

I’m still working in a traditional role but my intent is to provide a free resource for spiritual, physical, mental and emotional health. I will be developing my blog as a springboard to see where God takes me and this idea. So here’s to surrendering to His will!
